彦火火出見尊(山幸彦)
Hikohohodemi-no-mikoto, also known as Yamasachihiko, is a deity from Japanese mythology recorded in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki, son of Ninigi-no-Mikoto and grandfather of Emperor Jimmu. His name and legend, centered on the tale of the 'mountain fortune' hunting implement lost to the sea and recovered with the help of the sea god's daughter Toyotama-hime, associate him with mountain bounty and, by extension, the fertility and sustenance drawn from the land. He is venerated at shrines such as those in the Hyuga region of Kyushu, where he is honored within the broader tradition of ancestral kami linked to agricultural and food-related blessings.
