健磐龍命
Takeiwatatsu-no-mikoto is a deity venerated in Japanese Shinto tradition, particularly associated with the Aso region of Kyushu, where he is regarded as a grandson of Emperor Jimmu and a founding figure of the Aso Shrine lineage. He is traditionally connected to the cultivation of the Aso caldera basin, reflecting a role tied to agriculture and the sustenance of the land. Local tradition also credits him with protective functions over the region and its people, though such claims rest on legend and shrine tradition rather than verifiable historical record.
