Hikohohodemi-no-mikoto

Hikohohodemi-no-mikoto, also known as Yamasachihiko, is a deity from Japanese mythology recorded in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki, best known for the tale of exchanging fishing tools with his brother and journeying to the palace of the sea god Watatsumi. Through this myth he is closely associated with the sea, fishing, and the perils and fortunes of travel across water. He is traditionally regarded as an ancestor of the Japanese imperial line, being the father of Ugayafukiaezu and grandfather of Emperor Jimmu.
