大山積大神
Oyamazumi no Okami is a mountain deity in Japanese mythology, revered as the kami who governs mountains and the natural forces associated with them. Traditionally regarded as the father of Konohanasakuya-hime and Iwanaga-hime, this deity is enshrined at Oyamazumi Shrine on Omishima Island, a site historically linked to warriors and travelers who sought blessings before journeys or battles. Over time, devotion at sites associated with Oyamazumi no Okami has come to be connected with themes of safe travel and victory, though these associations reflect cultural tradition rather than doctrinal certainty.
