金山毘古神
Kanayamahiko no Kami is a Shinto deity associated with metal and mining, born from the vomit of Izanami during her illness following the birth of the fire god Kagutsuchi, according to the Kojiki. Traditionally venerated as a guardian of metalworking, ore, and mining activities, this deity is often enshrined alongside Kanayamahime no Kami at shrines connected to metal trades and, by extension, associated with prosperity linked to these industries. Devotees have long sought this deity's favor in matters of craftsmanship and material fortune, though such benefits reflect traditional belief rather than verified outcome.
