Sarutahiko no Mikoto

Sarutahiko no Mikoto is a kami of Shinto mythology, described in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki as the deity who greeted Ame-no-Uzume and guided Ninigi during the descent to the earthly realm, making him closely associated with guidance, crossroads, and the clearing of paths. He is enshrined at various locations including Tsubaki Grand Shrine, where he is honored as a guardian of travelers and new endeavors.
