えびす大神(蛭児命)
Ebisu Okami, identified with Hiruko no Mikoto, is one of Japan's Seven Lucky Gods and is traditionally venerated as a deity of the sea, fishing, and maritime fortune. According to Shinto mythology, Hiruko was the firstborn child of Izanagi and Izanami, said to have been set adrift upon the waters before later becoming associated with the figure of Ebisu. Ebisu is commonly depicted holding a fishing rod and a large sea bream, and is honored particularly by fishing communities and merchants along Japan's coasts.
