武甕槌命
Takemikazuchi-no-Mikoto is a kami of thunder and martial prowess prominent in early Japanese mythology, notably in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki, where he plays a key role in the mythic pacification of the land and the negotiation of the transfer of authority to the heavenly deities' lineage. He is enshrined chiefly at Kashima Jingu in Ibaraki Prefecture and is venerated as a guardian deity associated with martial arts, combat readiness, and victory in contests of strength. Devotees have long sought his favor before undertakings requiring courage or triumph, though claims of specific fortune or wealth attributed to him reflect popular tradition rather than settled doctrine.
