Kamotaketsunumi-no-Mikoto is a kami revered in the Kamo shrine tradition, particularly associated with Kamigamo and Shimogamo Shrines in Kyoto, and is traditionally regarded as an ancestral deity of the Kamo clan. According to legend, this deity is linked to the guiding crow (yatagarasu) that led Emperor Jimmu on his journey, and is thus associated with guidance and protection along difficult paths.
