大国主命
Okuninushi-no-Mikoto is a major deity in Japanese mythology, prominently featured in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki, credited with the creation and early governance of the land of Izumo before ceding it to the heavenly deities. He is traditionally associated with nation-building, medicine, and matchmaking, with many shrines, most notably Izumo Taisha, honoring him as a deity of relationships and marriage. Devotees have long sought his blessing in matters of love, marital harmony, and family, reflecting his enduring role in Shinto tradition as a patron of human bonds.
