Sarutahiko no Okami (Sarutahiko-no-Okami) is a kami of Japanese mythology, most notably recorded in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki as the deity who met the heavenly grandson Ame-no-Uzume and guided the descent of Amaterasu's grandson to earth. Because of this role as a guide who showed the way at a crossroads, he is traditionally venerated as a kami associated with travel, roads, and crossings, and is often enshrined at Sarutahiko Shrine and related sites.
