大山祇神
Oyamazumi no Kami is a mountain deity in Japanese mythology, revered as a kami of mountains and the natural forces associated with them, including weather patterns tied to peaks and slopes. Regarded as the father of Konohanasakuya-hime and Iwanaga-hime in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki, this deity is often linked by tradition to marriage and family bonds through those mythic associations. Oyamazumi no Kami is venerated at shrines such as Oyamazumi Shrine on Omishima Island, where rites of purification and reverence for nature's power have long been practiced.
