Takamimusubi-no-kami

Takamimusubi-no-kami is one of the primordial deities named at the beginning of the Kojiki, appearing among the first kami to come into existence in heaven and closely associated with Amaterasu in guiding the affairs of the heavenly realm and the founding myths of Japan. Traditionally linked to creative and generative power, this deity is often invoked as a source of vital, life-giving force that underlies growth and union, which has led to associations with binding and relationships.
