奇稲田姫命
Kushiinadahime-no-mikoto is a deity in Japanese mythology best known as the maiden rescued by the storm god Susanoo from the monstrous serpent Yamata no Orochi, an episode recorded in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki. After her rescue, she became Susanoo's consort, and their union is often referenced as an early model of marital bonding within Shinto tradition. She is enshrined at various Shinto shrines, including Yasaka Shrine and Hikawa Shrine, where she is honored alongside Susanoo.
