虚空蔵菩薩
Kokuzo Bosatsu (Akashagarbha) is a bodhisattva in Japanese Buddhism whose name means "Boundless Space Treasury," symbolizing infinite wisdom, virtue, and merit as vast as the sky. Traditionally associated with memory, wisdom, and learning, Kokuzo Bosatsu is especially linked to the Gumonji-ho ritual practiced in Shingon Buddhism to enhance intellect and study. Devotees have also honored this bodhisattva in contexts related to purification and the removal of obstacles, though such associations reflect popular tradition rather than universally fixed doctrine.
